Delray Beach Open draw

Matt Ebden’s American hard court season continues next week at the Delray Beach Open.

Ebden will play Russian Teymuraz Gabashvili in the first round. Should the Australian progress, he will meet the winner of the tournament’s third seed Kei Nishikori or a qualifier.

 

Ebden knocked out by Karlovic

Ivo Karlovic has beaten Matt Ebden in the first round of the Memphis US National Indoor Championships.

The Australian was unable to break the Croatian’s serve, falling 7-5 6-4 in two tight sets.

Ebden will next play in the Delray Beach Open, starting on Monday.

 

Memphis draw released

Matt Ebden will play big-serving Croatian Ivo Karlovic in the first round of the US National Indoor Championships in Memphis.

Ebden currently holds a 1-0 head-to-head record against the left hander.

First round matches commence on Monday, with Ebden scheduled to play Tuesday.
