Australia’s Olivia Rogowska has gone down to Kimiko Date-Krumm of Japan in the first round of the Brisbane International.

The 22 year-old Australian, who entered the tournament through a wildcard, went down 6-3, 7-5 to her more experienced opponent.

Rogowska will now fly to Tasmania to play in the Hobart International starting on Saturday.
