It’s been a huge year for the Aussie with two Grand Slam doubles finals.

Like a fine wine, he’s only getting better with age (not that 27 is old!)

So…. @jamie_murray and @johnwpeers are the only players under 30 years old in the ATP doubles top 12 rankings @judmoo

Also in Asia is Matty Ebden, he’s had a big week making it through the main draw of the Japan Open, after doing the same in China.

His gorgeous wife Kim, a big fan of the Sake.

I love the culture and the people of Japan. This beautiful bottle of sake and a sake glass were presented to us from Japanese tennis fans – gift giving is a way of life here ?? #japan #tokyo #beautifulculture #sake #arigatogozaimasu

Back home and it was great to see Jason Behrendorff return to the pitch.

The big fella got through 6 overs for WA on Monday with no problems

A maiden to start the run chase for the returning Behrendorff. Now it's Paris from the other end with Ludeman on strike #MatadorCup #SAvWA

Behrendorff back which is good to see. Should be 2nd left armer behind MJ..won't be…but should be

— Мітчелл (@niles1991) October 5, 2015

Great to see him play his first game in 8 months since a back injury.

Fellow West Aussie Will Bosisto has been making the papers back home and top scored for the CA XI during the week.

While Lisa Weightman continues to hit new marks as she prepares for next weeks Melbourne Half Marathon

Another improvement on the track tonight. Thank you @MUAthleticsClub track for being so kind to @LachlanMcArthur and I. #OneStepAtATime

— Lisa Jane Weightman (@LisaWeightman) October 6, 2015

We told you last week about her run in the Tan run but we didn’t realise it was a PB and she is now the 2nd fastest woman ever.

Not bad for a marathon runner

And finally from where you’d rather be.

Mr Bosisto is still holding off on Twitter he doesn’t mind a cheeky snap on Instagram.
