Nick Kyrgios and Alex de Minaur had earlier ensured the Australians would progress with straight sets singles victories.
Kyrgios dispatched Steve Darcis 6-2 7-6(8) in another masterful serving display.
De Minaur then had a hot start against world No.11 David Goffin on his way to the 6-0 7-6(4) victory to seal the tie.
The Australians finished top of Group D after their 3-0 win over Colombia a day earlier.
They will take on Canada in the quarterfinals in the early hours of Friday morning.
