Sensational WNCL campaigns from Chloe Piparo, Nicole Bolton and Emma King have seen the star trio named in the Australian Cricketers’ Association All*Star Team of the Year.
The ACA released its 2019-20 best of the best on the eve of the WNCL Final.
Piparo, Bolton and King were all voted in by their peers.
The trio carried their strong form into last weekend’s decider at North Sydney Oval against the NSW Breakers as WA claimed a drought-breaking title.
Piparo scored the second most runs in the competition, averaging 45.63 opening the batting through the regular season, alongside her captaincy duties.
Star spinner King took 15 wickets through the regular season, with an economy of 4.32, before three key wickets in the final.
Named at No.4 Bolton averaged 46.13 and took 13 wickets before a stunning performance in the final in which she smashed 67 runs and took another three wickets to be named player of the match.
The star all-rounder was also named WNCL player of the year.
