We take a look at what the Team Emageo Athletes have been up to on the social media front over the last week.
The second cricket test has started, and the weather is getting warmer.
It doesn’t get much better.
So let’s get things started with a round of applause for two of our star team, Casey Dellacqua and John Peers.
With two grand slam finals appearance a piece in 2016, we all knew the pair have had great years, but it’s great to see them officially recognised by Tennis Australia.
#TeamEmageo duo @caseydellacqua & @johnwpeers nominated for Newcombe Medal.

It's a great honour to announce I have been nominated for the Newcombe Medal 2015. @TennisAustralia @Prince_Tennis #Newks15

The award for Australia’s best player for the year will be awarded on November 23 and we think that both our chargers are a real chance to take “Newk” home.
No bias here of course!

Peers is the only Aussie in the elite eight team format and along with Jamie Murray, the pair a big chance to take out the win.
Check out the draw and schedule here.
The big fella has been enjoying the chance to try out his best threads in the lead up.
Very dapper lads, very dapper.
And thanks to a partnership with Tennis Australia, you can follow him throughout the build-up, as well as during the tournament.
I'm taking over @TennisAustralia Instagram account 'Guest Grammar' for the next few weeks. Don't forget to check it out! @Prince_Tennis

Here is some of his best work so far.
We are sensing a theme with the suits.
As you’ve seen the O2 Arena is coming together nicely but not in time for the lads to get some practice in, so they had to go outdoors at Queens.
Well, when the rain stays away that is.
When it doesn’t, you look to get a hit where ever you can.
Is that a squash court?
John will be blogging exclusively for Tennis Australia through the tournament.
Be sure to check out the great man’s work below.

We mustn’t forget our other “Newk” nominee though.
If not for injury Casey Dellacqua would be the only Australian female in the WTA finals in Singapore.
Get well soon Case.
Here’s a little bit of nostalgia that our friends at Tennis Australia posted during the week.
Staying on the court and Matt Ebden is on the verge of a return to the top 100.
He finished up his time back home in Canberra last week and took some time to check out the nation’s capital.
Before heading off to Japan where he is currently in the quarter final stage of the Kobe Challenger.
He had some time to kill before he left so why not get few reps in at the airport.
Sensing a hint of Gangnam style.
Back in the West, and Jason Behrendorff continues to get closer to husband of the year.
This week he took time out of his busy schedule to discuss married life with his beautiful partner Juvelle.
If you want more info into what makes him tick or how Juvelle puts up with him throughout the summer, you can read the story here.
While as you can see by the below photo, Rhys Mainstone is enjoying his mini break at home in WA.
He seems to have done some 4-wheel shopping also.
And finally this week’s “from where you’d rather be” goes to Matty Ebden for this beautiful pic of the Japan skyline.
That’s it from us.
Have a great week and a special good luck to Peersy over the next week.
See you next Friday!
