Maddison Inglis is the latest tennis star to join Emageo Group ahead of an exciting Australian summer of tennis.
Inglis, who will take to the court as the top seed in the women’s draw of the Australian Open Wildcard Play-Off in Melbourne tomorrow, has put together a career-best year after winning her first three ITF titles.
The now world No.128 is eyeing her second appearance in the Australian Open main draw are winning her way through in the Wildcard Play-off back in 2016.
Emageo Group Managing Director Sam Maxwell said Inglis had made huge strides in the past 12 months and had a bright future ahead of her.
“Maddy already has a lot of experience, despite still being so young,” Maxwell said.
“It has been a really impressive 2019 for Maddy. She won 61 matches, including titles at Nonthaburi, Saskatoon and Toowoomba.
“She has a lot of confidence going in to the new season and I’m very much looking forward to working with her and welcoming her to the Team Emageo family.”
Inglis will take on 15-year-old Charlotte Kempenaers-Pocz first up on Court 7 tomorrow.
Fellow Emageo Group player Storm Sanders is up third on Court 8 against Ellen Perez.
