Peers gets Davis Cup call up ahead of Dubai semifinal
Matt Ebden has clinched the doubles title at the Jinan Open in China.
Ebden opted not to head to the US to spend more time in Perth after struggling with fatigue.
He made his return in China and made the most of it, despite an early exit in the singles.
Ebden teamed with India’s Divij Sharan in the doubles with great success.
The pair cruised through the quarterfinals and semifinals in straight sets before a tight final, which went to a super tie-break.
Ebden and Sharan defeated Ji-Sung Nam and Min-Kyo Song7-6 (4) 5-7 10-3.
