Peers gets Davis Cup call up ahead of Dubai semifinal
Matt Ebden’s clay court preparation for Roland Garros has ended in Nice after a straight sets loss to Spaniard Albert Montanes.
The Spanish player, ranked 61 in the world, had too much class for Ebden on the clay court surface, downing the Australian 6-1, 6-3.
Ebden’s focus will now shift to the second grand slam of the year in Paris, commencing May 25.
