Peers gets Davis Cup call up ahead of Dubai semifinal
Tim David has played a key role in Singapore’s maiden T20 International win against an ICC full member nation.
In a rain affected match reduced to 18 overs on Sunday, Singapore beat Zimbabwe by four runs to create history as they continue their charge towards the T20 World Cup Qualifier.
David smashed 41 off 24 balls to be equal high scorer for Singapore as they posted 181-9.
The hosts were able to defend that total, despite Sean Williams belting 66 runs from 35 balls for Zimbabwe.
David made his T20 International for Singapore in July, leading a surge for the South Asian nation.
