Former coach Michelle Cowan has heaped praise on brilliant Fremantle midfielder Kiara Bowers going into their do-or-die clash with North Melbourne at Fremantle Oval.
The Dockers must win the match to progress to a maiden AFLW finals campaign.
Bowers has produced an incredible debut season at the top level after two years sidelined with a knee injury.
And Cowan, who has a commentary role with Channel 7, believes Bowers will have a huge say on who wins the final regular season match of the season.
“She will do everything she can to get the team across the line,” Cowan told the West Australian. “She just lifts and goes to another level as the game goes on.”
Bowers, who laid 19 tackles against Geelong last weekend, said she’d be doing everything possible.
“I’ll just hopefully do enough for the team for us to get the four points,” she said. “I’ll make sure I hit them hard.”
