Sam Maxwell Sports Management is pleased to announce that talented Australian sprinter Kevin Moore has joined the SMSM stable.
At only 20 years of age, Moore was a member of the gold medal-winning 4x400m Australian relay team from last year’s Commonwealth Games.
Moore began his athletics career at the age of 8, where he was a member of the Woy Woy Little Athletics Club where he competed in both Little Athletics events and school competitions up until the age of 18.
After focussing predominately on the 100m and 200m events as a junior, Moore made his mark on the one lap event during the 2010 Australian domestic season.
After opening the 2009/2010 season with a time of 48.03 at the New South Wales Country Championships, Moore then went on to run 46.13 at the Sydney Track Classic a month later and booked his seat on the plane to the Commonwealth Games at the National Championships in Perth.
In the Commonwealth Games final Moore ran a strong first leg that set the Australian team up for the eventual gold medal.
Moore is currently racing in Japan and will run the 200m at the IAAF Golden Grand Prix in Kawasaki on Sunday, before returning home to his training base on the New South Wales Central Coast.
