A career best year in 2014 has seen Olivia Rogowska awarded a wild card in to next month’s Hobart International.
The 23-year-old won two ITF $50,000 titles in Launceston and Sacramento this year, and reached a career high ranking of 102 in August.
“I’m so excited and grateful for the opportunity to play at such a great event,” Rogowska said.
“I will enjoy every minute of it and look forward to giving my absolute best.”
Tournament Director Mark Handley is delighted to welcome Rogowska back to Hobart.
“It’s fantastic to have Olivia back playing in Hobart. She is a great supporter of the event and always competes strongly, it will be a nice launching pad for her 2015 year,” he said.
“Olivia won her first round match here in 2014 and it set her up for a great year, she’s worked hard and continues to improve. We are looking forward to seeing her play some great tennis.”
Rogowska will join fellow Emageo Athlete Casey Dellacqua in the main draw in Hobart, with Dellacqua announced earlier this month as the tournament’s number one seed for 2015.
