Chloe Piparo will lead Western Australia in Melbourne on Tuesday as the ladder leaders restart their WNCL campaign after a long break.
The WA Women have not played a 50-over match since September 22 after claiming dominant wins over Queensland and then Tasmania in consecutive days in Brisbane.
Captain Piparo, Nicole Bolton and Emma King all produced strong form at the start of the WNCL season before they broke for WBBL duties.
The Emageo Group trio were each named in the 13-player squad for road fixtures against Victoria on Tuesday and Thursday.
New Zealand star and WBBL player of the tournament Sophie Devine also returns to boost the squad.
Perth Scorchers captain Meg Lanning will lead the Victorians, who welcome fellow Australian superstar Ellyse Perry from New South Wales for the first time.
Assistant Coach Michael Dighton will be at the helm for WA for the remainder of the season after Lisa Keightley left to take on the England Women’s coaching role.
Dighton said his side was keen to carry their momentum after a 2-0 start.
“We had a good hit out in our practice match last week following a short break after the Big Bash,” Dighton said.
“Taneale Peschel starred with the ball and Piparo and Bolton played really well at the top of the order.
“I’m really excited about this squad, our top four is arguably the best we’ve ever put out there.
“We’re all looking forward to two really good games of cricket.”
