Chloe Piparo, Nicole Bolton and Emma King will play in the WNCL Final on February 16 after WA pulled off a stunning win over the NSW Breakers to close out the regular season today.
Needing to win to guarantee their place in the 50-over decider, Piparo (51) and Bolton (53) starred as WA claimed a four-wicket win over the Breakers at North Sydney Oval.
The experienced pair combined for a vital partnership as the visitors tried to chase down the NSW total of 223.
Despite an interruption for a rain delay, WA ended up reaching the target with three overs to spare.
Piparo continued her consistent form at the top of the order throughout the competition with another half century, while Bolton was named player of the match after also claiming two wickets during the Breakers’ batting innings before her decisive role with the bat.
King has also been in sensational form this season as a regular wicket-taker and will have a key role to play when WA meets NSW again in the final.
