Peers gets Davis Cup call up ahead of Dubai semifinal
Rhys Mainstone has become the latest Australian athlete to join the Sam Maxwell Sports Management stable.
An open-water swimmer, Mainstone won gold in the 10km event at the 2010 Australian Open Water Swimming Championships.
In the same year he was sixth in the 5km at the FINA World Open Water Championships in Roberval, Canada, and fifth in the 10km at the Open Water World Cup in Sharjah.
With open-water swimming added to the Olympic program as of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, it is an exciting time for the sport and for Mainstone.
Mainstone’s status as one of the leading open-water swimmers in the world places him in a unique position in the Australian landscape as the profile and status of the sport grows and develops.
