Peers gets Davis Cup call up ahead of Dubai semifinal
Australian Olivia Rogowska has won her opening singles qualifying match at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.
Rogowska brushed aside the tenth seeded Olga Govortsova in straight sets 6-3 6-4.
The Australian will face Melinda Czink in the second round of qualifying tomorrow on Court 8.
Should she win against the Hungarian, Rogowska will move through to the tournament’s main draw which commences on Friday.
