A superb double century from young West Australian Will Bosisto has led WA to an emphatic win over the ACT in the Toyota Futures League.
Bosisto’s brilliant knock of 207 not out featured 26 fours and two sixes from 321 deliveries.
WA had been 2-55 on day one before Bosisto and D’Arcy Short combined for a 214 third wicket partnership to see WA declare 4-542.
The Warriors weren’t required to bat again with ACT bowled out twice, still 229 runs behind.
It has been a big week for the Bosisto, who’s talent was further recognised when he was chosen to lead a WA XI in two warm-up games against India at the WACA.
The former Australian U/19 Captain has been impressive for WA in the Sheffield Shield this season with a move to the top of the order resulting in his debut century in November against Victoria.
