There is an assumption that just because an individual is an “elite” athlete, they automatically earn the right to sponsorship. Unfortunately, this is not the case. At Emageo Group, we stress that sponsorship will only eventuate when the sponsor is of the belief that in helping an athlete, they will ultimately receive a tangible benefit for their support. We make a point of listening to potential sponsors, and understanding their needs. We do this because we see sponsorship as a two-way street; something that will only work if our athletes are a cultural fit for the sponsor, and are willing to give to the relationship – as well as receive.  It’s this win-win approach to sponsorship that makes Emageo the management company of choice for many corporate sponsors and partners, which in turn flows to the benefit of the athletes we represent.
