Peers gets Davis Cup call up ahead of Dubai semifinal
After taking out last month’s Victorian 10km road title, Lisa Weightman has continued her good form ahead of the London Olympics by winning the national 10km road running title in Launceston in a time of 32:46.
Weightman, 33, also ran the Launceston Ten before the Beijing Olympics in 2008 where she placed 33rd.
“This time I ran a bit faster than I did last time and hopefully again at the Olympics I’ll get to do the same” she said.
