One of Australia’s brightest young talents has been given a wildcard entry to the Brisbane International starting on Sunday.
Melbourne’s Olivia Rogowska will join fellow Australians Matt Ebden, Jarmila Gajdosova and Lleyton Hewitt in the main draw.
“Brisbane is one of my favourite tournaments … I’m really excited,” she said.
The 21-year-old Victorian has enjoyed some solid performances during 2012, reaching the second round of the Australian Open where she played on Rod Laver Arena for the first time against a top 10 player in Li Na.
“My goal for 2013 is to crack the top 100,” she added.
