Australian John Peers is on track to claim his second straight Brisbane International doubles title after a superb performance in the semi finals this afternoon.
Peers and new partner Henri Kontinen stormed past the tournament’s number four seeds Dominic Inglot and Robert Lindstedt 6-4 6-3.

Playing in the first tournament together, the tournaments number two seeds haven’t dropped a set all week and will play Australian duo Chris Guccione and James Duckworth in tomorrow’s final.
Peers is looking to defend his Brisbane title from last year, when he won with then partner Jamie Murray.
