Peers gets Davis Cup call up ahead of Dubai semifinal
Matt Ebden has today withdraw from the Aegon Trophy in Nottingham due to a minor leg injury.
The Australian was set to defend the title which he won last year against German Benjamin Becker but will take caution ahead of a busy upcoming grass court season.
“Unfortunately I have had to withdraw from Nottingham this week. I had a small problem with my leg since the doubles at Roland Garros,” Ebden said.
“I’m sorry that I couldn’t defend my title from last year, but am looking forward to returning to Nottingham in 2015 when it is a Tour event,” he added.
The 26 year-old is still expected to play at Queens next week.
