Olivia Rogowska

After a promising junior career, Olivia Rogowska burst on to the senior women’s tour in 2009 after a first round victory over Maria Kirilenko at the French Open. At the US Open later that year, Rogowska sent shock waves through Flushing Meadows by taking the first set against World No. 1 Dinara Safina and then lead 3-0 in the final set before Safina’s experience would prevail over the young Australian.

With singles titles in Launceston, Burine, Esperance, Darwin, Port Pirie, Alice Springs, Rockhampton, Sorrento and Sacramento since 2010, Rogowska has a career high ranking of 102 in the world.
